My sculpture represents the modern world. It shows the dark underbelly of today’s mass media driven, quick fix society. We have lost our purity, thoughtfulness and respect. My work speaks to these dilemmas and more, showing the human toll of our overly impersonal and greedy modern times. My art is meant to make the viewer think.

The figure is integral to my work as a barometer of the times in which we live. We are pushed pulled and cajoled in all directions. My found and repurposed objects are representative of a lost time in America. Forgotten and rusted, the old wood and nails show us a past when we had purpose, ideals, and integrity.
